2021 Premium Shiraz bottling in late 2022

2021 Premium Shiraz bottling in late 2022

As a direct result of the much lower than average rainfalls experienced in 2018 and 2019, Moppa Hills Vineyard has suffered severely reduced yields for the 2019 and 2020 harvests. Consequently, we have decided not to make any wine for those years and sold all our grapes to other winemakers. However the good news is we still have wine stocks from previous years and our 2021 premium shiraz is currently aging on new and old French oak with bottling expected around September 2022.

We are delighted to announce that our 2018 Grenache/Shiraz and 2018 Premium Shiraz were each awarded 4 1/2 stars and a massive 97 points in the Wine State magazine’s Barossa New Release wines judging. This result was published in the March – April 2022 Wine State magazine.
